Hidden Camera Death
May 19th, 2012Hidden Cameras – Why Should You Have One? by Sonia Giles
May 19th, 2012Hidden cameras are the best solution when you think you might have someone stealing from you, may not be treating your children right, or if you need to protect your property. There are plenty of systems to choose from and they don’t even look like a camera. Hence the term “hidden cameras”. Because they are difficult to detect makes them the best option for your home or business.
Many people are reluctant to buy hidden cameras because they think people may look at them as being paranoid. However, a little paranoia may just be the ticket to save your child’s life, your life, and even the value of your property. It is not a bad thing to have cameras in or around your home, at the office, and in other places.
Today, you can find hidden cameras in the form of stuffed animals, alarm clocks, a pack of cigarettes, a pen, and much more. These are the best options because no one knows they are in the room. Visitors or intruders don’t know they are being monitored. When people don’t know they are being monitored is when they are their normal selves. Many of the cameras you can purchase today are also motion activated so you don’t have to worry about pressing record and running out of tape before something really does happen.
If you hired a babysitter or a nanny and you are beginning to question her credibility this is an excellent reason for hidden cameras. You can purchase a teddy bear with a hidden camera and put it on the shelf. You might even consider a wall clock with a camera in it also. These cameras hold hours of recorded video. Recordings can be sent to an SD card which will allow you to plug into the slot on your computer or television and immediately begin viewing. Many children are killed each year from a babysitter the parents questioned but didn’t take the extra step to find out for sure. What’s the worst that could happen? She may be treating your child just fine and be the best sitter ever. It is better to be safe than sorry.
You might consider hidden cameras in the office if you find that the office supplies continue to go missing. Office supplies are the most common thing employees steal but they can be extremely expensive. When thefts occur in the office you must consider a camera. This will allow you to confront the person and end the problem.
Hidden cameras are also a way to protect your property from damage. If you find that someone continues to key your vehicle while it is parked in the apartment complex but you don’t know who it is then you can use a camera. This will allow you to get footage of the act and catch the person doing it.
Last year my neighborhood experienced a string of car break-in thefts over a two week period of time. One of the thefts involved a purse with all the credit cards, driver’s license, and money in it. My husband’s cell phone, coat, and place of business ID card were taken. If we all had hidden cameras pointing at the driveway we could have seen the perpetrator(s) and the police would have probably been able to apprehend them/him when the first break-in occurred and stopped any further episodes.
In the present economic crisis, we all need to take action to protect ourselves, our families, and our properties.

Hidden camera – What an ass(Just for laughs)
May 18th, 2012Types of Hidden Cameras by Jim Wilkinson Sr.
May 18th, 2012There are many different types of hidden cameras you might consider if you want to put up surveillance in your home, office, or workplace. These different types include motion detectors, timed cameras, nanny cams and others, and more.
The motion detector cameras are excellent hidden cameras because they use less energy. They require fewer batteries and are the most cost effective camera you can purchase. This is because they only begin recording when the sensors inside of the camera pick up movement in the room. The camera will activate when it detects movement and immediately begin recording. These types of cameras will record the video to things like SD cards or send it out directly to a monitor screen. This is commonly used for video surveillance for security guards and other job types. Some people like to put the motion detector cameras outside if they suspect someone is messing with their car in a specific parking space and they don’t know who it is. The good news is that it can help you catch a criminal but you may have video that is of no good to you from the wind blowing paper across the screen or animals setting off the video recordings.
Many of the motion detection or other hidden cameras are timed. They only run for a specific amount of time and then they stop. These cameras are often used in things like nanny cams and other surveillance cameras. Most people who use things like this want to verify if the babysitter is treating their children right or if the kids are out of control when you leave the house for a few hours. The timed cameras will begin recording by you turning on the device. They will record for a set amount of time and then stop. This could cause you to miss out on vital information or details.
Nanny cams and other hidden cameras are a lot of fun. They are great because they usually come in a format of a stuffed animal, alarm clock, wall clock, book, or some other thing that has a hidden camera inside of it and you cannot see it no matter how hard you look. These cameras blend in well with the environment. You can purchase a hidden camera in the form of a book and place it in the bookshelf with the rest of your collection. No one would ever suspect there was a camera inside and it would not be evident.
When you purchase hidden cameras for your surveillance purposes there are many for you to choose from. You may decide to get a motion detected camera or even a timed camera. Some of them record to SD cards so you can pop them out and go straight to the SD slot on your computer or television and immediately begin viewing the video. Some cameras look like stuffed animals or a pack of cigarettes and are designed to blend in with the environment while they record hours of video.

Choosing the Right Hidden Cameras by Jim Wilkinson Sr.
May 17th, 2012There are many factors associated with choosing the right hidden cameras. You want to consider the color, quality of the image, sensibility to low levels of light, and receivers. These things can help you choose the best camera that works right for you.
The color of a hidden camera you choose is going to make a big difference. You want the camera to blend in with the location where it is going to be placed. It shouldn’t be visible to the people or it will defeat the purpose of having a hidden camera. There are tons of different types of spy cameras you can purchase in different colors and shapes.
Image quality is one of the biggest factors you need to consider when you purchase hidden cameras. The quality of the image should be top of the line. The way picture quality works in video is that it is measured by lines of resolution. The highest resolution is the best quality. Surveillance cameras do not provide for high definition picture quality. That is why you see surveillance videos of robberies taking place that are blurry and hard to see. Get the best resolution possible so you can recognize the person in the video. There is no point of surveillance cameras and tapes if the video is not recognizable.
Hidden cameras also need to have a good light sensitivity or LUX. LUX is the measurement of low light sensitivity. If you have a surveillance camera you want it to work very well in the dark also, not only during the daytime or in fluorescent lighting. Most crimes happen in the dark and you want the camera to be able to provide quality video on a low light day. The lower the LUX is the better the camera will be able to see in conditions that are low in light.
Wireless cameras need to come with receivers. You should have a receiver and they can be expensive in come cases. The best hidden cameras will come with the receivers so you don’t have to purchase anything additional. You want to be sure to purchase the entire package and have it all ready to plug in and begin recording your surveillance. If you choose a camera that does not have a receiver then you will need to purchase one to make it work right. Keep in mind that the receiver you choose needs to be compatible with the camera.
When you use hidden cameras in your store, home, or workplace there are many factors that you should look into before you choose a camera. These things include the color of the camera and blending, the quality and resolution of the images, LUX, and if the camera includes the receiver. Choosing the right camera for your surveillance needs will ensure you come out with a picture quality that works right for you. You will be able to recognize the person on the video and there won’t be any questions asked or way to deny the actions.

Hidden Cameras
May 16th, 2012Hidden Cameras in the Home – Pros and Cons by Kim Calise
May 16th, 2012It’s very easy to monitor your home nowadays with a hidden camera. Not only is it easy, it can be inexpensive – especially for simple monitoring situations, like with nanny cameras. In this article, I will give you some pros and cons to help you evaluate if hidden cameras are the right choice for your home.
Many people who wish to install hidden cameras in the home, do so because they want to monitor activity that is going on at home when they are gone. The plus side is that you do not have to rely on somebody’s word against somebody else’s. If there is a dispute, like say between your nanny and child, then you know what actually went on, because you’ve captured it on video.
What is the legality of hidden cameras in your home? Currently, it is 100% perfectly legal to film the inside of your home, without receiving anybody’s prior consent. However, recording audio is another story, and depends what state you’re in. While the major benefit is that a hidden camera lets you see what goes on when you are there, the major disadvantages that you have to familiarize yourself with are the legal aspects of hidden cameras.
Different hidden cameras are going to be best depending upon your needs. If you’re not looking to blow the bank, and you just need something simple that doesn’t have to be picture-perfect, then you should consider getting a wireless hidden camera.
These things are now designed with pinhole lenses so you can hide them anywhere. Use your imagination as to where you’d like to place these. You can put them on clocks, VCRs, on stereos, one a bookshelf between books, and so forth. These are the easiest to hide in your home.
However, the disadvantage is wireless signals can be intercepted, and there is no legal protection to stop this from happening. This means that somebody can literally tap into your wireless connection to view what your hidden camera’s showing. Not something you’d want a potential burglar doing.
In conclusion, I have written this article to illustrate just some of the pros and cons for you to consider, when it comes to putting a hidden camera in your home. Actually, you have to weigh the peace of mind you get by knowing what is going on behind closed doors when you’re gone, versus some of the problematic situations that may arise from having hidden cameras.

May 15th, 2012Here is a list of uses for a Wireless Hidden Camera. Some are obvious reasons but you might be surprised at some of the other uses for these incredible security devices. And, I’m sure that you could come up with a number of other ideas for these amazing Hidden Cameras.
For Your Family:
- Teenagers coming in late at night and you want to know why
- Your spouse has been acting strangely lately
- You want to monitor your kids from your office when they come home after school

- Your parents are aging and having trouble getting around. You’d like to keep an eye on them in their own home from your own computer and know if they have any problems, fall or wander from the house
For Your Home:
- There’s been increased vandalism in your neighborhood and you have a large yard — some Wireless Hidden Cameras ‘see’ in the dark, so robbers beware
- You have a large swimming pool that unwelcome people like to visit OR your kids like to have their playmates in the pool without your knowing about it. Now you can watch the swimming pool area from anywhere in your house
- Front and Back Doors — with your Wireless Hidden Camera, businesses will be able to see who is at either door without opening it
- You have a barn with animals and it’s easier to check on them from your living room RV or computer than walking out to the barn. Also, if you are breeding stock, you can keep an eye on your farm animals that are ready to deliver their young so that you can be there to see that nothing goes wrong
- Garage — most everyone has tools and other valuable objects in their garage along with their car. A Wireless Hidden Camera is perfect for a detached garage — you can keep an eye on your garage from your TV, VCR or personal computer
- Outside Workshop — if your workshop or shed is detached from your house, a Wireless Hidden Camera will alert you in case of a break-in
- Boats and Boathouses — Wireless Hidden Cameras are the perfect surveillance tool. They can alert you to trespassers on your pier or boathouse
Some Other Uses:
- Used car lots, landscape nurseries, even day care centers — all have a lot of areas to cover. What better than a 4 or more camera surveillance system that lets you watch all four cameras on the same screen from your office or even from home
- Parking Lot Surveillance — use your low light Black and White Wireless Hidden Camera to catch muggers or car thieves on tape and help catch the bad guy
- Vacation Homes — always know who was in your home while you weren’t there. Also, with all the storms we’ve had lately, a Wireless Hidden Camera hooked up to your computer is a great way to view any obvious damage to your vacation house miles away without leaving your own home
- Apartments are at risk as well as houses. Hidden cameras will catch the bad guy on video — or with the right software installed, you can even check your apartment from your home or office computer
- Remember, gated communities are not a substitute for home security. They give a false sense of security because guards still let in contractors, pizza deliveries, repair men and more. People still tell the guards when they will be on vacation, and the guards could then inadvertently pass the information on to a potential burglar dressed in contractor clothing
- Rental Properties — keep watch over your investment from your own home or office
So you see, there are many reasons how a Wireless Hidden Camera can make your life easier. Don’t Be the Next Victim and please don’t become a crime statistic.
